2 Days Urumqi and Turpan Tour

We will leave for Turpan after breakfast from your hotel. On the way to Turpan, we will stop for taking photos of Dabancheng Wind Power Station which is located beside the Urumqi- Turpan Express Highway. Dabancheng wind power station is located 30km outside of Urumqi city; it is the largest wind power station in china and Asia.

We will be in Turpan late in the morning. We will go straight to hotel for check in and do quick refresh then set out for sightseeing. We first start with Toyuk valley which is the Great Canyon with the longest culture and the most mighty and majestic natural landscapes. Our lunch will be in Uyghur house in the valley. We will visit Gaochang ancient city after lunch. It was founded during the first century B.C. and abandoned during the 15th century. We will take a donkey cart to reach the center of Gaochang ancient city. Astana Tombs which is the “Gaochang’s live history record and underground museum in Turpan area.
Overnight in Turpan Jiaohe Ancient City

We will leave from the hotel after breakfast.The places we will visit today are Emin Minaret which is the biggest ancient pagoda existing in Xi njiang and the only Islamic ancient pagoda in the country, Karez Underground WaterSystem Folkways Paradise  which is the  irrigation system of wells connected by underground channels, it is considered to be one of the three great ancient projects in China, Jiaohe Ancient City. We will take our lunch in Turpan then leave for Urumqi after Lunch. Upon arrival, you will visit Xinjiang Grand Bazaar before concluding the tour.
